We blessed Matthew on Sunday, March 26th, 2009. Tommy gave him a beautiful blessing and his name is officially Matthew Henderson Skidmore. The day went really well but I have to say it is very different to not have all the family around like we are used to for these kinds of events. I kind of thought, what if it is just Tommy and the bishop in the circle? but we had some good friends and our home teacher go up too so it was great.

I had NO IDEA that you already blessed him! He is soooooo CUTE Emily!!! I can't wait to meet him!!
That was a BEEAAUUUTIFUL blessing. I loved it. He will be a very strong person. It is so hard to not have family around. But the ward is great- we are here for you:)
